Arguing against the death penalty: Anger
Arguing for the death penalty: Freeman

    Judge: 2011mjh

Court is now in session. Today we are here to officially settle the dispute. Should there be a death penalty? what makes you think there should? What makes you think that there shouldn't? I am your judge for this case, and i'll ask anyone who is NOT Freeman or IF~Anger to not post until i say "I will now hear from the jury", which means everone can then post.

I will now hear the opening statements from both parties.

    Good Luck gentlemen Very Happy

thank you my honor and may i acurrie to say nice tie yes im sucking up anyways the reason why we should not have a death penalty. Do we have the power as humans to decide who should this applys to both criminal and death penalty offcer i understand that there might be serial killers for death penalty but is it not enough just to leaved them alone in jail dont they suffer enough from there craziness. What us humans dont understand we fear because we dont understand serial killers or just killers we fear them and because of that us ourselves kill becoming the murderer themselves just live and let live why cant they just be in jail why do we think we have the right to kill someone well we dont further more who is to say that we all are a little fd up in the head imagine yourself in there position knowing nothing but the pleasure of killing then getting killed yourself even do its painless wouldnt you want to live even if it meant spending the rest of your life in prison im not finished yet but i will save some of my more stronger ideas for later Very Happy

Alright. Fist , I think that the death penalty should be a last resort. If a really dangerous criminal can't be held in any type of prison and is a serious threat then people should at least consider the death penalty. I guess I'm done for now.

Well I'm just saying if there is dangerous criminals that can escape jails then the death penalty might be the only way to stop the dangerous criminal from ever hurting anybody.

Anger does make a good point. Prisons for insane people and sadistic killers are either in the middle of the ocean or somewhere in a desert, making escape near impossible. Also, there is a prison called "The Shoebox" with maximum security. Also, Freeman does make a good point. If the criminal is seriousely insane, it's better to put him out of the misery in prison than to keep him alive for another 50 years.

Sorry for the strikes, but I only wanted the points to be there.Smile

    Now for the real thing.

Freeman only stated one minute point for his arguement, while Anger...*looks up at long post* said at least 3 points. I think its apparent who wins this case. Neutral Very Happy
